How It Works
An affordable and supportive website design & management retainer service for small to medium businesses
The Small Room web service is 100% retainer
Paid monthly, in advance. The initial period is twelve months, with three months notice to end at any time after.
No upfront fees
Everything is covered by the retainer.
No further charges
The only exceptions being for third-party plugins where more complex or specialist tasks (i.e. a booking system) are required. Most times, they are not necessary.
Hosting, ongoing design, search engine optimisation, x2 email accounts and all updates. Full access to the site for editing is provided to the client if required, or Small Room will update promptly at no extra cost.
High level security
24/7 protection and frequent backup.
WordPress is the CMS of choice
Based on twenty+ years of positive experience.
Quality server hosting is provided
The site can also be hosted elsewhere, if you prefer.
These are either purchased and managed on the client’s behalf, transferred in, or simply pointed from the client’s originating server to the host space. If purchased by Small Room, they remain 100% the property of the client, and are renewed annually, or bi-annually.
Support by email and telephone
Visual tutorials are available. Updated content for the site can be sent by email, and larger, private assets transferred via Dropbox or similar.
Fast turnaround on all work
Small Room provides very fast content updates. Don’t be kept waiting!
The website is always the property of the client
Once the initial twelve-month period has passed, the site can be easily transported elsewhere, should the client wish to change hosting and/or management.
All for one affordable monthly fee!
